How we work
What we actually do
We work in the group's methodology and tools: we walk through the processes, test the design and operating effectiveness of the key controls and the IT general controls, document the deficiencies and retest them after remediation. The documentation is in English, and we discuss deficiencies with the process owner.
The direction, supervision and review of the work remain with the group's internal audit function, and the file is in a form the group's external auditor can rely on. On request, we issue a written independence confirmation before work starts.
