Regulated entities
For NBFIs and other entities in the BNR registers
Your obligations do not come from Law no. 162/2017 but from the prudential framework. We tell you from the start what we can cover and what we cannot, so you do not lose time in the third meeting.

In brief
- Statutory audit, IFRS support, provision calculations
- Internal audit, subject to the independence limit below
- Reports in Romanian and English, for a foreign shareholder
What we do
The work we have already done
- The statutory audit of the annual financial statements, with the reporting the prudential framework requires.
- IFRS reporting support: policies, disclosure notes, the bridge from local rules.
- Provision calculations on the loan book, that is expected credit loss under IFRS 9: the provision matrix, portfolio segmentation and the written rationale the auditor asks for.
- Internal audit on agreed areas, where we are not the statutory auditor of the same entity.
The rule is ours and has no exceptions. If you need both, we tell you in the first conversation which one we can take on, so you can look for the other firm in good time.
Short answers
Frequently asked questions
Does our internal audit requirement come from Law no. 162/2017?
Not necessarily. For entities in the BNR registers, internal governance and control requirements come from the prudential framework, and Article 65(7) of Law no. 162/2017 applies in addition where the financial statements are subject to statutory audit. The two do not exclude each other, but neither covers the other. In the first conversation we check which of them applies to you.
Do you have IT audit capability?
For technology areas we work with contracted specialists, named in the proposal and covered by the same confidentiality terms as our own team. We tell you openly what we cover with our own team and what we do not.
What happens to our customers' data?
Lending data and borrowers' personal data are processed under an agreement concluded in accordance with Article 28 GDPR, before the first transfer. The details — where the data is held, who has access, the individual confidentiality undertakings — are in our privacy policy, in the section on engagements.
